SUP Safari: From Piran Bay to Strunjan Salt Flats

What do you need? Yourself, of course, a good mood, and a backpack with basic equipment: Swimwear and a towel, sunscreen and a hat

Prepare for an unforgettable SUP adventure through the stunning Strunjan Landscape Park!

The journey starts in the picturesque town of Piran, where we'll embark on our SUPs and set off into the sea. As we paddle, we'll admire the old city center from a new perspective offered by the sea view. We'll quickly get acquainted with the maritime life, paddling past fishing boats and getting comfortable in the sea waters.

Our route will take us past "punta" - the deepest point of the Slovenian sea (40 m) and the mighty walls of Piran, where we will pause for a moment to enjoy the peace of the wall's shelter. A refreshing swim in the crystal-clear sea awaits us, where we can observe marine life through a snorkeling mask. We will continue our journey towards Fiesa, where other adventurous enthusiasts, such as divers performing their course or dive, may join us. Admiring their underwater feats will surely be an exciting experience! We might even be joined by a companion fish, adding an extra element of fun to our journey.

In Strunjan, after a rest and coffee, there's an opportunity to visit the Strunjan salt pans, featuring a small but interesting salt-making museum. This unforgettable SUP adventure through the Strunjan Landscape Park is sure to delight all nature lovers and nautical adventure enthusiasts.
